Press Release for Succulent Crimson

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“Succulent Crimson” – Second Hardcover Release from Author Cynthia Zeuli!

Springfield, Massachusetts, November 17, 2004,¾ ArcheBooks Publishing Incorporated, announces their latest Horror publication, “Succulent Crimson” by Massachusetts author Cynthia Zeuli. This is the story of Christopher Chagny, son of a famous horror writer. Chris has always been obsessed with vampires, but he gets more trouble than he bargained for when he unearths a real one. Years later, Christopher's childhood sweetheart Olivia is working for one of television's hottest teen stars, Taylor Stockton. Her past and present collide when she and Taylor are forced to hunt the immortal creatures of the night in an attempt to rescue his co-star.

Cynthia Zeuli is a Springfield resident who attended the Mac Duffie School, and Emerson College in Boston. A Creative Writing major at Emerson, she once completed an entire novel during one semester. Ms. Zeuli originally intended to write romance novels, but fortunately for those who enjoy an exceptional horror story, she changed direction after falling in love with the works of Anne Rice and S.P. Somtow. "Succulent Crimson" was originally published in 1998 under the title "Lost Boys" by Virtuabooks, a pioneer in the field of electronic publishing. It is now available in hardcover from ArcheBooks. Much of the story takes place in Cynthia's hometown of Springfield. Cynthia's previous vampire novel "Bound by Blood" is also available from ArcheBooks.

Cynthia spent two years absorbing the atmosphere of New Orleans while living in the French Quarter. She found the culture and food to be fascinating; learning how to cook as well as exploring the above-ground cemeteries for which New Orleans is famous.
